The short birdcage veil softly frames the face without overwhelming the hairstyle or dress, making this piece especially beautiful for intimate ceremonies, civil weddings and modern bridal looks. It also photographs beautifully, adding an elegant detail to bridal portraits and wedding photographs.

Each piece is individually handmade in my studio using traditional millinery techniques. The headband itself is completely handmade using traditional millinery construction. It is made from millinery buckram, carefully wired and shaped, then reinforced with layers of interfacing before being meticulously covered with smooth white silk satin. This creates a structured yet comfortable foundation with a beautifully finished appearance.
