Two Brides, One City Hall in Chicago

Two Brides, One City Hall in Chicago

The iconic building of Chicago City Hall  is beautiful and grand, with its classical architecture and unmistakable CITY HALL sign — and somehow, it creates the perfect backdrop for a bride.

I was especially delighted to discover that two of my brides were married at Chicago City Hall, and that both have such beautiful photographs from their wedding days.

Two different women. Two different looks. Two beautiful weddings.

And in both stories, my little felt-leaf veils became part of the day.

I love seeing where my hats and veils travel — and I am especially happy that these two happened to be photographed in such a beautiful and iconic Chicago setting.

The felt-leaf veil featured in these photographs is available here →

And then there is this photograph — the two of them sitting at the bar, looking as though they have just stepped into a scene from old Chicago.
